    Homogenization will kill diversification.  I don't want everyone to be the same.  It will be boring - yawn.

    I give you something to think about.  My husband and I speak the same language, but we are all the time misunderstanding each other.

    I believe the Axis of Evil is the person or culture that demands to be on top, the culture that wants to be followed regardless.  Why can't we all just get along???  I think we have heard this question somewhere close to home. :)

    I try to be informed.  I try not to draw conclusions without having all the facts.  I am sure that these folks do not have all the facts.  LIke you said, they are following along like sheep.

    Let's also consider what the factories in these underdeveloped countries are doing to the environment.  US companies also enjoy less laws with regards to pollution in these far off countries. Are we polluting these underdeveloped countries while their citizens look the other way because they have all been given jobs?

    I too enjoy experiencing new things.  I appreciate globalization for that.  However, I fear that much of globalization has to do with taking advantage of the poor masses.

    On the one hand I am happy that people in these poor countries are being given work.  However, I am very upset when I call my bank for help and a person from a third world country tries to help me with my problem.  I did not leave that interaction feeling positive.

    We need to elect some people who are truly concerned for the environment and not themselves.  If we can do that, then we can fix this thing.
